San Marino Psychiatric Associates (SMPA) specializes in the management and provision of mental health and chemical dependency assessment, evaluation, and treatment in the San Gabriel Valley and surrounding communities. San Marino Psychiatric Associates (SMPA) was founded in the late 1970's by Drs. Berry McCord and Frank Minero. Today SMPA, with seven psychiatrists and five allied health professionals is one of the largest clinician owned direct providers of behavioral health care services in the San Gabriel Valley.

San Marino Psychiatric Associates' clinical philosophy views mental illness as a bio-psychosocial-spiritual phenomenon that can best be evaluated and treated through a multi-disciplinary, community oriented approach. We stress the importance of treating the whole person using appropriate methodology and clinical support.
